Mother and baby girl with suitcase baggage and clothes ready for traveling on vacation

Stay Safe, Stay Well on the Road

As the usual “organizers” in the household, women are often charged with getting the whole family set to travel. Do you use a checklist to make sure you’ve packed everyone’s passport, medications, and spare socks?

Add to your checklist a few items that will help keep your family safe and your vacation serene:

  • Are everyone’s immunizations up to date?
  • Did you all get flu shots?
  • Have you packed extra hand sanitizers?
  • Going someplace warm? Don’t forget sunscreen and mosquito repellent.

Keep your family’s meds in your carry-on in their original prescription bottles in case you are asked to show them to at TSA Security. Have any prescribing doctors’ phone numbers written down or stored in your phone in case medication is lost while on vacation.

We wish you all the best this holiday season, and that includes a serene trip wherever you travel.
